Examples of conservative and integrative work concerning two seismograms of the National Observatory of Athens. The work comprised the integral back lining of the seismograms with Japanese rice paper. The lining was carried out after the complete removal of pieces of plastic sticky tape whose markings are still visible. Apart from giving the paper medium of the seismogram a better overall mechanical resistance this action has also eliminated the risk of further losses of parts of recordings.
